Gerd Schmitz-Morkramer, Supervisory Board Chairman

Gerd Schmitz-Morkramer studied Law at the Universities of Lille, Freiburg, Munich, and Cologne. He started his career at the Frankfurter Hypothekenbank. Then he went on to join the Deutsche Bank and Grunelius KG Privatbankiers, where he served as General Partner and Management Spokesman.
He occupied this position at Merck Finck & Co until 2003. He was responsible for the corporate finance division and the following units: communication, human resources, auditing, securities business and syndicate operations, accounting, and controlling. Gerd Schmitz-Morkramer is now, among other things, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Merck Finck Co. Treuhand AG and Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MLP AG.
